Pre-flight briefing
Before you take off, you’ll meet with one of our certified flight
instructors (CFI) to learn about the aircraft, the flight plan, and basic safety information.
Hands-on flight experience
Once you’re briefed and ready, you’ll hop in the cockpit and taxi to the runway. Your instructor will handle
the takeoff, but you’ll be fully involved
as a co-pilot!
Discovery Flight
A Discovery Flight is your introduction to the world of aviation, and the perfect way to experience flight training firsthand. With one of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) at your side, you’ll take the controls and get a feel for what it's like to train at OFA.
Whether you're exploring aviation as a hobby or a future career, this hands-on flight offers a low-pressure, unforgettable opportunity to see what flexible, student-centered training is all about. The 45-minute Discovery Flight is $179 and the first step many of our students take. It might be the one that launches your passion for flight.
