A Discovery Flight is more than a flight—it’s your introduction to the world of aviation, and the perfect way to experience flight training firsthand. With one of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) at your side, you’ll take the controls and get a feel for what it's like to train at OFA.

The 45-minute Discovery Flight is $179 and the first step many of our students take. It might be the one that launches your passion for flight.

    Not at all. Many of our students begin with zero flight experience.   • How old do I need to be to start flight training?
    You can begin flight training at 16 years old and become eligible to earn your Private Pilot License (PPL) at 17. At OFA, we welcome aspiring aviators of all experience levels and ages.
